Clicks Blocked: Offer Unavailable

Clicks on a sub-affiliate network offer link are being turned away because the offer cannot be served.

What it means

In a sub-affiliate network, partners send traffic through offer links. When an offer link is clicked and the offer is not active, no longer exists, or is not set up completely, Routy does not redirect the click. The visitor gets an error page and the click is not recorded.

Why it happens

  • The offer was deactivated while partners still have its link published.
  • The offer was removed.
  • The offer is not fully set up, for example it is not attached to a partner.

What you can do

  1. Open your network and check the offer on the Public Offers or Assigned Offers tab.
  2. If the offer should still be running, make it active again.
  3. If it has ended, tell the partners who promoted it to take the link down.

When it clears

On its own, 3 days after the last blocked click. You can also press Resolve once you have fixed it. A burst of blocked clicks is reported at most once an hour, and search engine crawlers never trigger it.
