Account integration: credentials missing
The account does not have the credentials its integration needs, so we could not collect your stats.
What it means
Each program's integration signs in a particular way: with a username and password, an API key or access token, or a client ID and secret. The way this program needs has no saved value on the account. Nothing is collected until it is filled in, and the account's runs show as Blocked.
The message says which credential is missing.
Why it happens
- No password is saved. The message reads "Password is required for this account". This is by far the most common one. It often happens when the account was added with a username only.
- No API key or access token is saved. Some programs only offer API access, and the account was set up with a username and password.
- The client ID and client secret are missing.
- The program changed how its integration signs in, and the account still holds the old kind of credential.
What you can do
- Open Accounts, click the account, click Edit, and go to the Integration step.
- If the program offers more than one way to sign in, there is a tab for each. Pick the one named in the message.
- Fill in the missing value. If you don't know where to find an API key or client secret, see Adding an affiliate account.
- Click Test Integration. When it passes, click Save. Saving starts a run straight away.
See Your account's integration.
When it clears
It closes by itself on the account's next run that completes, which is usually the one your Save starts. If no run hits the same problem for 7 days, it also closes on its own, and opens again on the next run if the value is still missing.
