Connecting a TUNE (HasOffers) account

TUNE is the platform formerly known as HasOffers, and both names still appear — the product is marketed as TUNE while its API endpoints remain on hasoffers.com. Seeing "HasOffers" in a URL doesn't mean you're in the wrong place.

Connecting authenticates with a single API key that you request from inside the network's affiliate portal.

Finding your credentials

  1. Log in to the network's TUNE affiliate portal.
  2. Go to Tools → APIs.
  3. If you already have a key, this page shows it alongside your Network ID.
  4. If you don't, click Request API Key.

What happens next depends on how that network is configured:

  • Auto-approval — the page refreshes and your key appears immediately.
  • Manual approval — you'll see "Affiliate API approval requested". The network has to authorise it before a key exists; contact your affiliate manager if it stays pending.
  • Disabled — you'll see "Affiliate API feature is disabled". Only the network can turn it on. Ask your affiliate manager to enable affiliate API access; it's read-only reporting access and a routine request.

The Network ID is shown next to the key on the same page. You don't need to enter it in Routy — the program you picked already carries the right endpoint — but it's worth noting, because it's what identifies your network if you have to raise a support ticket.

One key per network. Each TUNE network runs its own portal and issues its own key, so promoting through three networks means three accounts in Routy.

Username

Your login username for that TUNE affiliate portal. Routy uses it to identify which affiliate the reporting belongs to; the API key is what authenticates.

API Key

The key from Tools → APIs above. TUNE's own documentation describes it as "essentially the password to your account from the API's perspective" — treat it that way, and don't paste it into a support ticket or a chat.

If you ever regenerate it, the previous key stops working straight away, so update it here at the same time.

Test connection failed

  • Invalid API key. Re-copy it from Tools → APIs. If you regenerated it recently, the value stored here is the old one.
  • Your key request is still pending. On a manual-approval network the key doesn't exist until someone authorises it. Check the Tools → APIs page — if it still says approval requested, chase your affiliate manager.
  • The key is from a different network. Keys are network-scoped. Confirm the portal you took it from matches the program you're adding.
  • The network can't be resolved. This one is ours to fix, not yours: some networks front the API on their own domain, and it has to resolve back to TUNE's. Contact support with the network's name.

What Routy pulls

Routy reads your click, tracker and daily reporting through TUNE's affiliate reporting API. It's read-only — it can't change offers, payouts, or anything else in your account.

Getting help

If the key is current and approved and the connection still fails, contact support with the network's name, your Network ID, and the exact error from Test connection. Don't send the key itself.
