Report Builder — Presets

This screen lists the saved presets for the report type you picked. A preset is a ready-made report setup — its own columns, filters and sort order — that you can open, reuse and adjust any time.

Every preset belongs to one report type. Under each preset's name you'll see the columns it uses, so you can tell two similar setups apart without opening either.

Opening a preset rebuilds the report against the latest data — presets are reusable setups, not frozen snapshots. Nothing about the numbers is stored; only the configuration is.

Use the search box to find a preset by name when the list gets long.

Preset scopes

Each preset has a scope badge telling you who it belongs to:

Badge	Scope	Meaning
Default	Routy	A Routy-provided starting point. Read-only — you can't edit or delete it, but you can Save as my own later to get an editable copy.
Account	Shared	Visible to everyone in your account. Anyone with permission to edit reports can change or delete it, including one you created.
Private	Personal	Only you can see it, and only you can edit it.

The scope also decides what you can do from this screen: presets you can edit carry a delete (bin) icon on the card. Routy's Default presets don't — there's nothing to delete, because they belong to Routy rather than to your account.

A shared preset has no owner. If a preset is scoped Account, a colleague with report-edit rights can change or delete it even though you made it. Save it as Private if you need it to stay exactly as you left it.

Starting a report

From here you can:

Open an existing preset — loads it ready to view or adjust.
Start From Scratch — opens a blank "Your New Report" with no columns or filters yet, so you can build your own from the ground up.

If this report type has no presets at all, Routy takes you straight into a new report.

Tip: the fastest way to a good report is usually to open a Default preset, adjust the columns and filters, and then Save as my own.

What a preset does not remember

A preset stores columns, filters and sort order — but not the date range. That's deliberate: a preset describes what to report on, not when, so it stays useful as time moves on. Opening one starts from the report's default window (typically the last 30 days) and you pick the range you want.

Routy's own Default presets are the exception — a Routy default may pin a particular window on purpose.

Once you open a preset (or start a new report) you'll be in the report itself, where you choose columns, set filters, sort, and then save, share or export.
