Traffic Sources

This page lists every traffic source you've set up. A traffic source is a channel you send visitors from — a paid campaign, an SEO site, a newsletter, a mobile app, and so on. Routy uses traffic sources to group your clicks, conversions, and tracking setup so you can see where results come from.

The list

Each row is one traffic source, with columns you can show or hide:

Column What it shows
Name The traffic source name. Click it to open the source.
Type The channel category — SEO, PPC, Email, Media, Mobile App, Website, SMS, Partner, etc.
Status New, Enabled, or Closed.
Clicks Clicks recorded for the selected period.
Signups Signups recorded for the selected period.
Cloaked Links How many cloaked links the source has — links through to its Cloaked Links tab.
Webhooks How many webhooks the source has — links through to its Webhooks tab.

Use the column settings (desktop) to choose which columns appear.

Finding a source

  • Search by name or ID.
  • Type filter — narrow to one or more channel types.
  • Status filter — All, New, Enabled, or Closed.
  • Sort any column header. Click metrics columns load in after the row appears.

Adding a traffic source

Click Add Traffic Source (top right) to open the setup. Give it a name and type, and it appears in the list ready to configure.

Each website can belong to only one traffic source at a time, so if you already have a source for that site you'll be told the website is taken.

If you deleted a source for this website

A source you deleted still holds its website. When you add a new source for the same site, we stop and show you the deleted one — its name and the date you deleted it — and ask which you want:

  • Restore it — the same traffic source comes back exactly as it was. Its tracking key doesn't change, so the pixel you already installed and every tracking link you've published keep working, and all its clicks, conversions and reporting history come back with it. Clicks from a deleted source are hidden from the clicks log, so restoring brings those back into view too. This is the right answer if the delete was a mistake.
  • Create a new one — the deleted source stays deleted and you get a fresh source for the site. Your existing tracking links for this website will stop working, and you'll need to install the new pixel.

Restoring uses one of your plan's traffic source slots, so it can fail if you're already at your limit. To free a slot, delete a traffic source you no longer use — archiving doesn't free one — or upgrade your plan.

Deleted traffic sources aren't listed anywhere else, and this is the only place you can restore one. To hide a source you might want back later, archive it instead of deleting it.

Opening a source

Click a row (or its name) to open the traffic source detail page. From there you manage:

  • Webhooks — push conversion events to external tools
  • Integrations — connect ad platforms like Google Ads or Facebook Ads
  • Cloaked Links — branded redirect links on your own domain

Per-row actions (View / Edit / Delete) are also available from the context menu at the end of each row.
