Routy

Links archived automatically

You turned on automatic cleanup for brand links, and Routy has just moved some inactive links out of your main list. They still work. Nothing is blocked or deleted.

What it means

The message says how many links were archived in this run. Archiving only hides a link from the default view of your Routy links list. An archived link keeps redirecting visitors, keeps counting clicks and conversions, and its reports are unchanged.

Why it happens

Automatic cleanup is something you switched on in Settings → Automatic cleanup. It runs once a day. A link is archived when both of these are true:

  • it was created at least as long ago as your Minimum age setting, and
  • it has had no clicks, conversions or revenue for your whole No-activity window.

See Automatic cleanup.

What you can do

Nothing is required. If you want a link back in your main list:

  1. Open Routy links and set the Archive filter to Archived.
  2. Click Restore on the row, or select several and click Restore at the top. See Archiving.

If too many are being archived, raise the No-activity window in Settings → Automatic cleanup, or switch automatic archiving off for brand links.

When it clears

Each day's run is its own issue, at the Info level, so a day that archives links gives you a new one. It closes by itself 14 days later. You can also press Resolve on it straight away.
