Routy

Account integration: saved password can't be read

This account has a saved password, but your current master password can no longer unlock it, so we could not collect your stats.

What it means

Routy keeps account passwords encrypted with your master password. For this account, the saved password was locked with a different key, or the saved value is damaged. The account's integration signs in with that password, so it cannot run.

Entering your master password again will not fix it. The only fix is to type the account's password in again.

You only see this on accounts that actually sign in with a password. An account that uses an API key or client ID is not affected by an old saved password.

Why it happens

  • The master password was changed before late October 2026. A change at that time could leave saved account passwords unreadable. Changing the master password now keeps them working.
  • The master password was reset. A reset replaces the key, so passwords saved under the old one cannot be read.

What you can do

  1. Open Accounts, click the account, click Edit, and go to the Integration step.
  2. Click the pencil next to the password and enter the password you use to sign in to the affiliate program.
  3. Click Test Integration. When it passes, click Save. Saving starts a run straight away.
  4. If several accounts show this issue, repeat for each one. Each account keeps its own password.

When it clears

It closes by itself on the account's next run that completes, which is usually the one your Save starts. If no run hits the same problem for 7 days, it also closes on its own, and opens again on the next run if the password was not re-entered.
