Routy

Signing in with single sign-on

If your company uses Microsoft Entra ID, you can sign in to Routy with your work account instead of a Routy password. Your company's Routy account needs single sign-on (SSO) set up first. To ask for it, contact support.

  1. Go to the Routy login page and type your work email.
  2. Select Continue with SSO. It appears a moment after you finish typing, if your company has SSO.
  3. Sign in on your company's Microsoft page.

You come back to Routy, signed in, on the page you were trying to open.

Your password keeps working, and Continue with SSO sits alongside it.

If this is your first time and your company allows it, Routy creates your user during this first sign-in, with the permissions your company chose for new users.

How long you stay signed in

An SSO sign-in lasts 24 hours, however active you are. After that, Routy sends you back to the login page to sign in again.

If sign-in doesn't work

What you see What to do
Continue with SSO doesn't appear Check the spelling of your email. If it's right, your company's email domain isn't set up for SSO, so sign in with your password or ask your administrator.
Your Routy account has no free seats. Ask your administrator to free up a seat or add more.
Your company hasn't given you access to Routy yet. Ask your administrator to give you access to the Routy app in Microsoft Entra.
Single sign-on isn't available for this account right now. Sign in with your password, and let your administrator know.
Sign-in didn't complete. Go back to the login page and try again from there. Starting from the Microsoft My Apps page isn't supported yet.
