Tracking Profiles

Tracking profiles define how Routy tracks events for your campaigns.

What is a Tracking Profile?

A tracking profile is a configuration that maps your tracking domain to specific click and conversion handling rules.

Creating a Profile

  1. Click Add Profile
  2. Enter a profile name
  3. Select the tracking domain
  4. Choose the redirect type (301, 302, or JavaScript)
  5. Configure postback settings

Redirect Types

Type Use Case
301 Permanent redirect — best for SEO
302 Temporary redirect — most common for affiliate links
JavaScript Client-side redirect — useful when you need to fire pixels

Testing

Use the Test button to verify your tracking profile is working correctly. This sends a test click through the system and confirms the redirect chain.
